The Bigger-Picture Implications of This Work are Related to the Concept of &Quot;Reconciliation Ecology&Quot; Introduced by Ecologist Michael Rozenzweig in His 2001 Book, _win-Win Ecology_. His Idea is That WE can Reconcile Human-Use Areas with Conservation-Use Areas if We'Re Smart About It, and WE will Need to Figure Out How to do SO if WE Truly Hope to Conserve the Numbers of Species WE Say WE Want to Conserve. MY Extension of This Idea Involves the Massive Acreage of Residential Property That Exists in Our Country. Wouldn'T it be Great if WE could Include All That Land in Our Conservation Plans?
