• This was A Catholic Girl'S Bording School, Who Where Mainly from Colorado, and Some from Mexico. it was Run by Benedictine Nuns, and Enjoyed Social Events with the Boys from the Abbey School in the Same Little Colorado Town of Canon City ( yes the Penitentury is There Too ). This was Superior HS Education, with Band, Drama, Glee-Club, Athletics, Besides the 4 Rs, Inculding Religious Training ( How to be A Good Wife), and Daily Mass, as Well as Once Yearly Retreat for A Week. This was A Wonderful Education and Preparation for College, Although i Never Completed That. This School Closed it Doors in About 2000, After More Than 100 Years. i was the Art Editor of the Year Book in 1960, and Excelled in Glee Club, Sang in A Shared Musical with the Abbey, as the Mom, in the Music Man.... (Which i Don'T Remember Except That MY Boyfriend was There ). Ofcourse i had Lots of Opportunities to Contribute Art Work for Different Events. Mainly it was Immersion in Catholic Culture and Ceremony.
