• Activities and Societies: Kappa Delta Piobtained the Certification &Quot;Nys K-12 Instructional Technology: Educational Communications Specialist&Quot; in This Program. Worked on Projects Centered Around Learning Gamification, Teaching K12 Coding, Media Production, Website Design, Educational Theory, and Workplace Training. As Part of This Program i was Able to do an Internship at ST Lawrence University with Their ED Tech Department. i Focused on Developing Both Written and Video-Accessible Documentation for College-Owned Technology Systems While Also Helping to Maintain an Accurate Inventory of Assets. My Final Project was Creating an Interactive Digital Game &Quot;The Many Hats of an Instructional Designer&Quot; Based on A Framework That MY Advisor, Dr. Betrus, had Created in His Doctoral Program. (The Game was Written in Flash and is no Longer Available).
• the St. John Fisher Educational Leadership Program was Different Than Most - it was 4 Semesters Back-To-Back and 4 Separate Semester-Long Internships. MY Focus Initially was to Become A Technology Director, but the Experience Made ME Realize That i Also Enjoyed (And was Quite Good At) Educational Policy and Overall Leadership Roles. Internship Experiences Included Working Under Two Different Superintendents and One Building Principal. Got to Get MY Hands Dirty and Work Closely with A Large-Scale Building Project, Provided A Lot of Teacher Pd, Created A School-Wide Student Incentive Program (&Quot;Bulldog Bones&Quot;), and Created Digital Database for District-Wide Assessment Data SO That it could Easily be Analyzed and Shared with Different Stakeholders. i Worked with Our Regional Boces on Technology Planning, Budgeting, and Set UP Various Vendor Meetings as New Purchases were Being Considered.
• Activities and Societies: Oswego Technology Education Association {Otea)As an Junior i was Elected the President of the Student Technology Education Association (Otea) and Worked Through the Process to Get Our Organization Registered as an Approved Student Organization Through the College. at the Time Otea was A Local Chapter of the Nystea, Which is Now Known as Nysteea. The Courses That i Excelled in at Oswego were Transportation, Electronics, and Design.
