• Activities and Societies: i Worked as A Stage Hand, and Set-Construction Crew for the Missouri Repratory Theater, Located on the Umkc Campus.In MY Time at Umkc, i was Working at the Johnson County Museum in MY Hometown of Shawnee Kansas. in the Beginning MY Goal was to Pursue A Degree in History, with an Emphasis of Study in Italian Renaissance Art Patronage. i Shifted Direction for MY Coursework Toward Material Culture Studies as an Emphasis of Study, After Realizing Just How Much i Loved Working at the Museum, and How Perfect Such A Profession was for Me. the University Offered the Coursework in Museum Sciences, but no Longer Offered the Degree Specifically for Museums. Thus the Paper Degree i Received is Through the Department of History, but All MY Course Work and Practicum was Developed in Museum Sciences. i did not Follow A Traditional Thesis, but Rather Pursued A Non-Thesis Tract Whereby i Received Course Credit for Curating and Developing Educational Programs for Two Exhibits for MY Employer, the Johnson County Museum. in Lieu of A Thesis i Underwent A Three Day Examination for Graduation.
• Activities and Societies: Phi Alpha Theta, First Benedictine Chapter, 2003 Member of the History Club, 2000 - 2004 Member of Concert, Symphonic, and Jazz Bands Member of the Benedictine College Chamber Singers, 2000 - 2004i was First Chair Trumpet in the Jazz and Concert Band for Three Years. i was Also A Lead Tenor and Soloist with the Benedictine College Chamber Singers Choir for Four Years. i was A Soloist in the Ave Maria During Our 2004 Concert in Vatican City, for Pope John Paul Ii. i was Also in Several Theatrical Productions, Including Shakespeare'S Othello, Served as the VP of the Campus Activity Board for Two Years, and was A Founding Member of Benedictine'S Inaugural Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honors Society and Fraternity for College History Majors.
