• This was A Pioneer Fast-Track Five Year Medical Program Training Professionals in Psychiatry/Mental Health. WE Began Our Foundational Years at UC Berkeley in Preparation for A 3 Year Residency at Ucsf. There WE Rotated Through and Served in In-Patient Psychiatric Wards, Out Patient Psychiatric Departments, and Crisis Clinics at Mount Zion Hospital, San Francisco and Langley Porter Hospital, San Francisco. the Vision was to Serve the New Population of Homeless Who were Dumped Onto Streets at the Closing of Mental Hospitals During the Reagan Era. And, Serve Them WE Did! MY Fledgling Years After Graduation were Spent Treating Patients in the Tenderloin, Triaging Those Who were Able to Come to Bayview Hunters Point Out Patient Clinic, and Hospitalizing Those Who Needed In-Patient Care.
