• Activities and Societies: Student Optical Society, Yearbook Staff, and School Newspaper.I Enjoyed Taking Courses on Optics, as i Found it Very Challenging and i Learned Many Things That were Indeed Important to the Optical Profession WE Take for Granted. i had A Source of Excellent Teachers, and They All were Happy to See ME Graduate, as i was Way Ahead of the Times in Our Profession and i was Able to Teach Them New Things from the Older Things WE were Taught. Everybody in Our Profession Needs to Learn Their Lenses, as the Lenses are Vitally Important to Your Patient. Understand Their Optics, and Understand Your Patient. Pick Several Lenses, and Learn Which Lens will Make Your Patient Happy. Prevent Refunds Ahead of Time, as Your Patients Trust Your Professional Knowledge.
• Activities and Societies: Assisted Head Baseball Coach, Yearbook Staff School Newspaper, and Industrial Arts.Assistant Baseball Coach with Varsity Baseball Team. Take Notes During the Game, SO Next Time WE can Understand Our Competition Next Time. Baseball was A Great Sport for Me, as it Teaches You About Respect, and Discipline to Others.Yearbook Staff - i did This MY Junior Year, and i Helped Take Photos of Friends, and Also Helped Cropped Them to Fit in Certain Pages of the Yearbook. i had About Ten Photos i Took for the 1988 Yearbook. School Newspaper was not Fun for Me, as Gossip was not MY Dish.Industrial Education was an Awesome Course in High School. WE Went to School for Four Periods, and in the Last Four Periods WE would Work in on Our Career. This is Where i Learned Opticianry. i Enjoy This Field Very Much, as Every Patient is Different, and it is A Challenge. MY Allergies, and MY Asthma Prevented ME from Pursuing MY Sports Dream, and MY Cooking Dreams.
