Qualification Culminates with A Oral Examination Given Before A Board Chaired by A Commissioned Naval Officer or A Nuclear Power Engineer. Qualifications are Conducted in A 'Check-Out' Format, Where Students will Study A Subject and Demonstrate Their Knowledge Via Oral Examination with A Staff Instructor. Typically, Students are Expected to Spend Between 12-16 Hours A Day On-Site to Study and Perform Various Practicals.
