• Activities and Societies: Society of Automotive Engineers Completed MY Masters Degree While Working Full Time at John Deere. Main Focus of Study has Been in Design Optimization, and Fluid Dynamics. Final Project was to Recreate the Geometry of the Nrel (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) 5 MW Wind Turbine Using the Airfoil Sections, and Provide the Sound Pressure Level in the Infra-Sound Range Through Using Star Ccm Acoustic Analysis Software. This Sound Pressure Level was Then Used to Determine the Distance Away from the Wind Turbine in Which the Inner Hair Cell and Outer Hair Cell Stops Responding to the Sound Pressure Coming Off A Wind Turbine. A Comparison to Ocean Waves Infra-Sound was Also Performed in the Analysis. Show Less
