• Activities and Societies: While an Undergrad at Tu, i was A Member of Tri-Beta, the Biological Society.My Masters Degree from Nsu, was Obtained as A Part-Time Student and Involved Commuting Over an Hour One Way. in Addition to Being Employed, i had Very Little Time for Other Activities. My Education, from All Three Schools, has Served ME Well. i have Wonderful Memories and Compliments for All.
• Post Masters Degree Study Though not in A Doctoral Program. Courses Include Environmental Law, Environmental Geology, Federal Laws and Regulations Concerning Ground Water, Bioremediation, and Environmental Sociology.
• for Personal Enrichment: Courses Include Principles of Horticulture, Fertilizers and Soils, Plant Diseases and Pests, Greenhouse Management. Sadly Tcc no Longer has A Horticulture Program.
• One of the Initial Approaches to Distance Learning was Talk Back Television Courses. i Took an Introductory Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma in This Format. This Involved A Live Lecture Given in Norman, Oklahoma and Televised to Various Satellite Locations Around the State. i Participated in the Tulsa Location with A Telephone Connection for Class Questions. as This was A Laboratory Course, WE Met Twice During the 16 Week Course in Norman for an All-Day Laboratory Session. This Experience Gave ME the Foundation for Conducting MY Own Telecourse Introductory Biology Class at Tulsa Community College. This Course was Offered for Several Years. it Ultimately Evolved Into an Online Course and Now A Blended Course.
