• Activities and Societies: Honor Society, Student Government, Newspaper (Though Others Carried MY Ball, SO i could Study for an AP Exam), And, i Secretly Wished for Better Health, SO i could Run Track.I was not A Brilliant Student, and i Sometimes Was, Secretly, an Angry One, for SO Few AP Course Offerings for Disadvantaged Kids! I have Opened the Course Offerings at John Island High, in Sc, in the Last 3 Months. I Like Myself, i am Still and Angry 50 Year Old, and i Don'T Like the AP Course Offerings for Disadvantaged Kids!
• Activities and Societies: i was Involved in Every Art Activity Related to Theater Because i Thought i might Get the Opportunity to Teach Drama in A Public High School. I Also Enjoyed Every Formal i could Possibly Attend Because i Thought That Teaching at ST John Neuman Catholic School in Liburn, Ga, in the Middle of 5 Million Dollar Homes was A Huge Stretch for MY Humble Beginnings and i might as Well Practice Humility, Because i Hoped to See Every Parent'S Night and Pta Meeting Through Until the End.I did Much More Than Student Teach at Apex Senior High in Wake County, NC . . . and Enjoy MY Remedial 10th Graders, More Than MY College Bound Seniors. I Stood Outside Hill Hall Every Evening That i Got A Chance, Until MY Fingers Went Numb and Tears Streamed Down MY Face, for the Sound Really Good Student Orchestra was not Something MY Humble Beginnings could Understand . . . Before i Left Asheville, Nc; i Sat in MY Rattiest Pair of &Quot;Found Blue Jeans,&Quot; in the Top Row of the Balcony at Diana Wortham, and Listened to the Asheville Symphony Perform Bach. Like MY Love of English Literature, and Anything Else MY Greedy Little Hands and Eyes can Devour to Read . . . i was Totally Alone . . . And, Absolutely as Close to Heaven as i will Ever Be, Period! And, Then, the Summer Before i Left Asheville, i Decided the Brevard Outdoor Music Program was Superior to the Aso, Because i Sent the Last Celebrated Birthday of MY Life Interviewing Young Musicians Prior Performance.
• Activities and Societies: i had the Pleasure of Teaching in A Private School in an Area of 5 Million Dollar Homes, and I, Also, Proudly Taught at Fairington Elementary in Dekalb County, Ga, in A Open Classroom Setting.
