• While at the University of Texas, Jason was A Graduate Assistant. Duties Included Teaching Private Lessons to Underclassmen Who were Percussion Majors, Conducting the Lower Level Percussion Ensemle, and Performing in the Top Percussion Ensemble Along with the New Music Ensemble. In Addition to His Teaching Assistant Duties, HE Also Performed in the Orchestra and Wind Ensembles.
• Activities and Societies: .While at Cmu Jason was Participated in the Marching Band, Central Jazz Air and Jazz Lab 1 Bands, the Wind Symphony, Symphony Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra. as A Senior HE was the Percussion Section Leader in the Wind Ensemble. Additionally Mr. Lewis was Also Very Active with the Percussion Program at Cmu, Participating Int the Percussion Ensemble and Steel Drum Band. In Addition to Participating in Many School Ensembles HE Also Recorded Three Cd'S with the Robert Honher Percussion Ensemble for the Dmp Label, and was Active with the Midland and West Shore Symphony Orchestra. the Latter, HE was Percussion Section Leader for Two Years. Lastly HE had His Own Jazz Quartet and Rock Trio Which Played at Local Clubs and Bars in the Area
