• Through the University of California'S Education Abroad Program, i Spent One Year Studying Linguistics in Barcelona, Spain. Classes Included Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Syntax, Spanish Composition, Catalan Language, Translation Studies, Language Pedagogy, and Latin American Political Studies. All Classes were Instructed in Spanish or Catalan. MY Placement in This Program was Motivated by MY Interest in Language Policy and CataluñA'S Efforts to Revive the Catalan Language Following Attempts to Erase it from Public Life by the Franco Regime.
