• Graduating from Law School was A Great Dream of Mine. i had Hoped to be A Trial Lawyer Since i Attended A Summer Scholars Program for Gifted High School Students at Washington &Amp; Lee University Where i Took A Class on Constitutional Law from William Geimer, an Accomplished Death Penalty Lawyer, Along with MY First Class on Criminal Procedure. However, A Lifelong Stutterer, i was Discouraged at MY Lack of Progress in Speech Therapy and Fluency, and Ended UP Practicing Real Estate Law for 5 Years, an Occupation That was Never A Great Fit. i am Far More Fluent Now Than i was Then.
• at the University of Richmond i Majored in English but Also Took Courses in Political Science, Philosophy, Leaderships Studies, and Ceramics, Along with the Normal Prerequisites Required of Every Student Pursuing A Bachelor of Arts. While There i Developed Meaningful Lifelong Friendships, Read and Thought Deeply About What it Means to be A Responsible Leader, Debated the Issues of the Day, and Read Broadly in A Variety of Fields. While i Drank MY Fair Share of Beer, Like Many College Students, i Took MY Intellectual Development Seriously.
• Activities and Societies: While it is Arguably Inappropriate to Include A High School on A Linked-In Profile, i am Particularly Proud of Graduating from Mccallie, A Competitive School for Boys Where i was A Boarder on Scholarship for Grades 9 Through 12. While There, i Learned A Lot About Myself, Developed Greater Depth as A Person, was A Mediocre to Poor Wrestler, and was Co-Captain of the Lacrosse Team (Midfield and Face-Off) When it was Just A Club Team, Before it Became A Competitive Varsity Team.While it is Arguably Inappropriate to Include A High School on A Linked-In Profile, i am Particularly Proud of Graduating from Mccallie, A Competitive School for Boys Where i was A Boarder on Scholarship for Grades 9 Through 12.
