• Activities and Societies: Kappa Delta Pi, Resident Assistant, Admissions Assistant, Fellowship Recipient, Student Teacher of the Yearwhile at Texas State University, i was Blessed to Live on Campus and Serve as A Residence Assistant and Orientation Assistant for the Admissions Office. i Took Classes in Multiple Departments, but Chose to Focus on Elementary Education and Reading Instruction. During MY Senior Year and Student Teaching, i was Selected as the Student Teacher of the Year and Attended an Education Conference in Atlanta, Ga. Immediately Upon Graduation, i Received A Fellowship from the University That Allowed ME to Continue MY Education and Obtain MY Master'S Degree, While Teaching Full Time in Comal Isd. This was A Terrific Experience for Personal and Professional Growth as i had A Highly Qualified Mentor Teacher and Fabulous Professors Overseeing MY Thesis and First Year Teaching Experience. MY Thesis Experience Included Student Learning Styles Research and Implementation in MY Classroom.
