• Activities and Societies: Phi Theta Kappa Mountain View Soccer Program National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholarswas Nominated to Participate in Both the Phi Theta Kappa and Nhscs Programs Due to ME Acheiving of 3.5 and Above. I Played Soccer MY First Year Which was Truly A Great Experience Learning from Some of the Top Coaches and Assistants in the Dfw Area. Coach Brad Namdar and His Assistant Coach Jaime Ibarra Truly Brought Something Special to Our Team Which Led US to Break Our Schools History of Having More Wins Than Losses and A Chance at Playoffs. Both of Their Experience Playing at the D1 Level Really Rubbed Off on Us, and WE Showed it Out on the Field. Practices were Twice A Day and Super Intense. They were Determined to Turn US Into Phenomenal Soccer Players. Through Hard Work and Discipline WE Acheived Our Goal of Shattering the View Others had of Our Program. WE Showed Them That Lions are Really the King of the Jungle!
• Activities and Societies: Soccer Program Cross Countryi Started the Season Off at Sam Houston High School Quite Great. in Part Because at MY Middle School They Didn'T Offer A Soccer Program but They did have A Soccer Club on Friday'S Which i Anticipated Since Monday! it was MY Way Out of Many Things. not from Schoolwork but Rather from Bullying, Stress, and Other Things That i Wouldn'T had Been Able to Overcome if it Wasn'T for the Sport. SO When i Came to Sam i was Super Excited to Finally be A Part of an Organized Team, with Jerseys and Everything. During MY Time There i Manage to Become the Leading Goal Scorer on MY Jv2 Team MY Freshmen Year Which Propelled ME Forward for the Upcoming Season. as A Sophomore it was an Honor to be Called UP to the First Team Also Known as Varsity. i Learned A Lot from the More Experienced Juniors and Seniors. When it was MY Time i Knew Exactly What to Do. During MY Senior Year WE Managed A Great Season and Made it to the State Semifinals in Austin, TX for the First Time in Our Schools History.
