I Dismissed Myself from Pursuing This Degree Because i Observed During MY Practicum That School Psychologists are not Needed Due to the Fact Teacher Consultants, School Counselors, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists Administer the Academic Testing and Mainly Lead the Iep Meetings; Therefore This is Causing Lots of School Psychologist Layoffs and Limited Job Positions. the Only Area Sp'S are Needed is for Cognitive Testing and Report Writing, Therefore They are for the Most Part Contracted in and not Holding Full Time Positions.
