• Activities and Societies: Secretary of the Unl American Association of Petroleum Geologists Student Chapterthesis Title: &Quot;Unraveling Controls on Fracture Stratigraphy in Carbonates: the Influence of Regional Stress, Mechanical Properties, and Diagnesis&Quot; I Developed A Fracture Stratigraphy for A Carbonate Sequence in Arkansas, and Looked at Controls on Fracture Development Such as Rock Mechanical Strength, Stratigraphy, and Diagenesis. Fracture Identification and Prediction is Important for the Subsurface Migration of Fluids Such as Oil and Water. This Project is Supported in Part by Grants from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Geologic Society of America. Additionally, A Large Component of MY Graduate Experience has Focused on Hydrocarbon Exploration Using Various Techniques. Class Projects Utilized Sequence Stratigraphy (Siliciclastics and Carbonates), Seismic Interpretation, Core Interpretation, and Wireline Log Analysis in Areas Such as the Cooper-Eromanga Basin (Australia), Southern Spain, Wyoming, and Alaska'S North Slope.
• Activities and Societies: Member of the Geology Clubgraduated 2013 Senior Independent Study Thesis (2013): an Analysis of Volcanic Structures in Utah. Involved Field Work (Two Weeks) and Literature Review, Culminating in an 82-Page Thesis and an Oral Defense. Presented at the Geologic Society of America Conference Nov. 4-7, 2012, in Charlotte, Nc.
