• Activities and Societies: Juvenile Law Clinic Under Professor Peter Smith; Actually Tried Cases in Court Under the Supervision of A Licensed Attorney, Peter Smith. During MY Senior Year at the University of Maryland School of Law, i Successfully Represented Dozens of Juveniles Before the Circuit Court of Baltimore City. Under Peter Smith'S Tutelage, Senior Law Students had the Opportunity to Assist and Argue A Case Before the U.S. Supreme Court; A Rare and Awesome Opportunity That i will Never Forget.On Day One of Law School at the University of Maryland, i Met Elijah E. Cummings. WE Became Friends and Formed A Close Knit Study Group That Continued for Our 3 Years There and Into Our Study for the Maryland Bar. All 5 of US Study Buddies Passed the Maryland Bar the First Time. Our Friendship and Professional Association Continued UP Until His Death in October 2019.
