• Activities and Societies: Welsh Polymer Chemistry Fellow Nsf-Grfp Fellowworked as A Graduate Student at the University of Houston.
• While Participating in the Lsu Ireu in Translational Chemistry, i was Afforded the Opportunity to Defend as A Masters Student in the Department of Chemistry for the 9 Months of Research i had done at Lcpo at the University of Bordeaux. Upon Completion of MY Thesis and Defense, i was Awarded A European Masters Equivalency Degree, Which Reflected MY Ability to Perform at A Masters Level While in France.
• Activities and Societies: Richard Wright Center - Peer Tutor President of the Ember Program (Experienced Mentors Bettering Emerging Researchers) Cset Scholars Mentoring Programas A Student at Jsu, i have Devoted A Large Amount of MY Free Time to Working with Students in A Variety of Fields. i Tutored Stem Majors at Our Scholars Academy Building, and i Worked with Students of the Written Word as A Peer Tutor at Our Writing Center. Working with Students in Such Varied Subjects Helped ME Become Well Rounded and Balanced. Not Only did i Tutor on Campus, but i Also Mentored Students Who Showed an Interest in Bettering Themselves Professionally. it Started Off as A Few Students Who i would Help with Resumes. Personals Statements and Even Personal Problems. This Soon Blossomed Into ME Developing A Program Geared Towards These Students. the First Year of the Program, the Ember Program, i was Able to Bring Many Students in the Chemistry Department Together and Elevate Our Presence on Campus. WE Achieved SO Much That WE were Able to Expand Into All of Cset. the Program is Still Going On, and i Maintain MY Connections to Students i Worked with at Jsu.
