• as A Student in the Master’S in Historic Preservation Program at Boston Architectural College (Bac), I’Ve had the Opportunity to Dive Deep Into the Art and Science of Preserving Our Built Heritage. the Program has Given ME Hands-On Experience Working with Historic Buildings and Sites, Blending Architectural History, Conservation Techniques, and Sustainability to Address Modern Preservation Challenges. What i Love Most is the Chance to Collaborate with Industry Professionals and Work on Real-World Projects That Help Protect and Revitalize Culturally Significant Spaces. It’S A Program That’S not Only Enriching MY Knowledge but Also Giving ME the Practical Tools to Make A Meaningful Impact in the Field of Preservation.
• During MY Foundational Year in Interior Design at Disd, i Focused on Building A Strong Understanding of Interior Design Theory While Developing Practical Skills in Key Industry Tools. i Gained Hands-On Experience with Sketchup, Cad, Engage, and Indesign, Which Allowed ME to Effectively Translate Design Concepts Into Technical Drawings and 3D Models. This Year Provided A Solid Base in Both Creative and Technical Aspects of Design, Preparing ME for Advanced Coursework and Real-World Applications in the Field.
• Completing the Mat in History at Salem State was an Incredibly Enriching Experience That Deepened MY Understanding of Historical Inquiry and Pedagogy. the Program Offered A Diverse Range of Courses That Honed MY Research, Critical Thinking, and Teaching Skills. Engaging with Faculty Who are Both Scholars and Educators Provided A Strong Foundation in Historical Methodologies While Also Emphasizing Practical Approaches to Teaching. the Collaborative Environment Fostered Intellectual Growth and Prepared ME for the Complexities of the Classroom. from Exploring Primary Sources to Developing Curriculum Plans, the Program Empowered ME to Connect Historical Content with Modern Educational Practices. A Highlight was MY Independent Study in India, Which Allowed ME to Explore Architectural History While Applying Historical Methods in the Field. This Experience, Along with Internships and Curriculum Development, Prepared ME to Excel in the Classroom.
