• After Spending 15+ Years in Kitchens and Retail i Decided to GO Back to School. I Enrolled Into Lccs Graphic Design Program. the Program Itself Only had Twenty-Four Positions for the Second Year, but an Unlimited Amount for the First Year. Needles to Say the Competition was Quite Fierce. Excepted on MY First Attempt in 2009, i was the Second Pick.
• Activities and Societies: i Occasionally would Come in Voluntarily on the Weekends to Learn About Breaking Down Large Wild Animal Carcases, Wine Tastings, and Farm/Dairy Field Trips..The Primary Focus of MY Culinary Education was Garde Manger and Butchery, with A Focus on Charcuterie. MY Internship was for A Catering House/Charcuterie. i Learned How to Budget Projects, and Time Management Skills. Due to This Education i was Able to Work as A Catering Chef and Cheesemonger Around the Portland Metro Area and Greater Phoenix Area.
• Activities and Societies: Drama Club, Art Clubfrom 1992-1994 i Attended Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington.
• in 1993 i Attended A Summer Program for Teens Held by the AI of Seattle. We were Encouraged to Explore Career Opportunities in Art and Design. This is the First Time i Used Photoshop, and the Last Time i Airbrushed A Photo with an Actual Airbrush.
• A Summer Program for High School Students Exploring the Field of Graphic Design, and Getting College Credit Along the Way. at Clark i Learned the Foundations of Graphic Graphic Design. i Gained Experience Working in A Lightroom Developing Photos, Photo-Lettering, and Developing Printing Plates. We Also Learned the Basics of Coreldraw, Digital Imaging, Basic Computer Usage, and Graphic File Formats.
