Graduated with Currency in Both the Uh-1 Huey Utility Helicopter, the Ah-1s Attack Helicopter, an Instrument Rating, and Award of the Army Aviator Wings. Later in MY Career Transitioned Into the Third Helicopter Rating the Oh-58 Kiowa Scout Helicopter. Retired with Award of Master Aviator Wings.

Army Rotc Dept., Sr. Year.Received MY Draft Notice for Military Service Nine Months After High School Graduation and Working for the Colorado Springs Planning Department. in 1966-67 the Vietnam Conflict was in Full Gear. MY Parents, A Working Mother and Father, A Wwii Veteran and Retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant were Unable to Support A College Education for ME in Those Years, SO Worked and Hoped the Conflict would End Soon. it Didn'T SO Off to Basic Training, Advanced, Training and Vietnam did i Go. i Enlisted Though for Helicopter Crew Chief Training That Added an Extra Year of Service. When MY Enlistment Ended, i Worked A Couple Years, Then Used the GI Bill for College. i was Fortunate to be Awarded Two Student Grants, Worked Part Time, and Joined Rotc Which Paid A Stipend. Combined i was Learning and Living in Boulder, Colorado Better Than Many, and Graduated with A Degree and an Officer Commission in the Army Using Those Resources and MY Physical and Mental Efforts.
