• in the Preliminary Stages of MY Doctoral Work, MY Research Focus is in on the Culture of Teaching, Specifically with Regards to World Language Education and the American High School Classroom. MY Research Asks the Questions: What Beliefs do Teachers Hold About How Language should be Taught? What Influences the Decisions Educators Make in the Classroom Setting? What might be Missing for Teaching Practicum That would Help Educators Implement Newer Curriculums and Teaching Technics?
• as Part of the Accelerated MA Program, i Wrote A 70 Page Thesis on the Current Grieving Practices in France. This Project Allowed ME not Only to do Research with Many Secondary Materials, but Also Spend A Great Deal of Time Speaking with French Families and Listening to Their Stories About Lost Loved Ones. In Addition i Took Classes That Focused on French and Francophone Literature as Well as History Classes That Explored Cultural Interactions in the Middle East and Europe. Finally, i had the Opportunity to Meet Other Language Students That were as Dedicated to French as i Was, and Chose to Dedicate Themselves to the Language Pledge and Stay in French for the Duration of the Program.
• not Only was i A Student of French and Anthropology at Bgsu, but i was Also Able to Make Use of the Faculty on Campus to do Several Research Projects. i did A Wide Variety of Projects, These Included: *Writing A Play Based on the Growing Influence of Technologies on Everyday Life. *A Grant Funded Project on Ancient Roman Attitudes on Death and the Afterlife in Comparison to Modern Attitude * A Project on Pvs Patients and the Moral Dilemma it Poses for Families Who are Left with the End of Life Decision. I was Also Able to Participate in Numerous Theater Productions, and Experience Cross-Cultural Interactions While Studying in France and Burkina Faso, Africa.
