• Activities and Societies: German National Honors Society Delta Phi Alpha, Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Stammtisch (German Speaking Table), Fulbright College'S Annual Foreign Language Speech Contesti Challenged Myself Each Semester by Taking Three/Four Language Classes in German, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian, to Gain A Fundamental Understanding of the Structure of Each Language. This Course of Action Allowed Understand of the Culture of the Speakers of These Languages to A Further Degree. Given the Tedious Nature Involved in to Wrote Memorization Process Required to Gain Mastery Over Each Language, i Developed Creative Techniques to Facilitate the Learning Process by Programming Video Games to Use the Words from the Languages i was in the Process of Learning. in Order to Support Myself and MY Education, i Worked Part Time, While Abiding with the Standard of Academic Excellence i Demand of Myself, Being Named to the Deans List of the University on Several Occasions. On MY Free Time, i Also Volunteered on Cultural Events on Campus Such as the Chinese Lunar Festival, Where i Performed on Stage with Other Students, or the German Conversation Club, Stammtisch, Every Friday.
• Activities and Societies: Excursions to Novgorod and Moscow, Visiting the Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Hermitage of St. Petersburg, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics and the Kremlin in Moscow, and Several Other Cultural Excursions.Living and Learning in the 2014 Summer Between June and August Allowed ME to Attain A Professional Working Proficiency in the Russian Language Through Daily Lessons Given in the Russian Language. Staying with A Host Family Also Introduced A More Holistic Presentation of Russian Culture, as i Made Many Friends with People Outside of the Program, Under the American Institute for Foreign Study, Aifs.
• Activities and Societies: Chinese-Table; Lunch Provided as Long as Participants Spoke Chinese, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Theatre, Tours in Waitang, Conversation Mixers (Students and Natives), Excursions in Qing Dao and SU Zhou.Attended During the 2013 Summer from June to August, i Spoke and Learned Chinese for the Entirety of the Program Under Alliance for Global Education. at the End of the Program, Several Awards were Presented, Along with Chinese Proficiency. i was Presented the Chinese Star Award, in Recognition of MY Monumental Progress and Commitment Within Chinese Language During the Program.
