• i Worked as an Academic Advisor for Allied Medicine During MY Graduate School Years for Osu University College. This was the Entrance Point for Undergraduate School. i was Assigned to Work with Allied Medicine Entering Freshmen. i Taught an Entry Class That Focused on Status as A Freshman as Well as Incorporating Guests from Allied Medicine from the Medical Faculty and Administrators. This was and Continues to be A Very Competitive Field of Study. i Helped Students Drop and Add Classes and Counseled Those Whose Academic Status Dictated the Need to Identify A Better Fit Elsewhere.
• Activities and Societies: as A Graduate Student, i Worked as an Allied Medicine Adviser for Incoming Freshmen.My Work Included Teaching A Class Which Involved Sharing Allied Medicine Profession Choices for Incoming Freshmen. i had Allied Medicine and Ohio State Freshmen Entry Material. MY Students Came to ME to Add and Drop Classes. Sometimes That Meant Facing the Reality That Their Academic Backgrounds were not Competitive for the College Level Classes. Shifting Majors, Enrolling in Remedial Math and Literacy Classes, or Simply Leaving the University for Related Training That was Less Academic were the Considered Options.
• Activities and Societies: Torchbearer Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority Wesley Foundation-Organized and Led Tutoring Program for Inner City Students W/Wesley Assistant Head Resident at Hess Halli Usually Sang with MY Zta Sorority'S Group in the Annual UT &Quot;All Sing&Quot; Event. i Made Many Friends Through This Organization. i was Also President of Mortar Board at Ut. This is A Women'S Honorary. Under MY Leadership WE Erased the Group'S Debt to the University by Sponsoring A Tennis Match That Included the University President and the Chancellor with Board Member Partners. i Also Attended A Conference for Mortar Board Undergraduate Presidents in Ohio. i am Recognized in A University-Wide Group of Twelve People as A University of Tennessee Torchbearer MY Senior Year. Torchbearers were Selected at the End of the Senior Year. Academic, Leadership, and Service are Integral to the Selection Process.
