• Activities and Societies: Siam Student Chapter, Math Clubmy Current Interests are in Numerical Analysis and Partial Differential Equations (Pde) with Applications to Biology. i am Working with Prof. Yoichiro Mori in Modeling and Simulating Cortical Spreading Depression (Csd). Csd is A Spreading Wave of Depolarization in the Brain That is the (Or A) Cause of Migraines. Mathematically it is Interesting Because Ordinary Brain Activity is Fast (Action Potentials ~ 10m/S) Where Csd Travels ~ 2mm/Min. Since it is SO Slow Spreading is Governed Mainly by the Diffusion of Ions, However, the Action Potentials Still have an Effect. These Mixed Time Scales Make Simulation Tricky. and That is What MY Current Work is on Improving.
• Concentration was in Applied Mathematics. Specifically Mathematical Biology and Numerical Analysis. My Thesis was Titled: &Quot;A Multirate Electrodiffusion Model of Spreading Depression and Seizures.&Quot;
