• Activities and Societies: During MY Tenure at Pitt i Extended MY Education to Include the Study of Infant Temperament and Became Certified in the Brazelton Infant Temperament Scale. MY Dissertation Included the Study of 25 Mother/Infant Pairs to Determine Impact of the Infant'S Temperament on the Mother'S Interaction with the Baby.
• as A Requirement for the Masters Degree to Complete A Thesis i Instead Wrote and Published A Book with MY Program Adviser and MY Employment Supervisor. the Content of the Book was Based on MY Experience at the Residential Facility During MY Undergraduate Program. it was Also Based on the Experience and Knowledge Gained from Working at A Residential Facility Implementing A Grant. This Experience Led to MY Being Recruited to Develop and Implement the Public Education Program for Students with Severe to Profound Disabilities in an Intermediate Unit.
• Through A Required Field Study Course i Started MY Lifelong Career Working With, Children, Youth and Young Adults with Severe Disabilities. These Children Lived in A Residential Facility and i Spent an Unusual Two Semester Assignment with the Program at the Request of the Director of Programs to MY Academic Dean.
