• Activities and Societies: Legacy Peer Mentor, Scientistas Club Member, Caribbean Student Organization Club Memberas i have Progressed Through MY Academic Career at Northeastern University, i have Acquired A Greater Passion and Appreciation for Biology. i have not Only Learned About Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Concepts, but have Been Able to Apply That Knowledge to Global Heath Both Inside the Classroom and in the Field. Together, These Two Areas of Interest have Opened Many Doors for Me, from Completing MY Own Research Paper on Fgm in Kenya, to Learning About Maternal Health Practices and Outcomes in New Zealand.

• During the Summer Following MY Freshman Year at Northeastern, i had the Opportunity to GO on A Six Week Study Abroad Program Led by Professor Richard Wamai. During This Time i Travelled Throughout the Country Interviewing Politicians, Public Health Officials, Health Care Workers, and Civilians to Create A Research Paper on Female Genital Mutilation (Fgm), Also Known as Female Circumcision.
