• Activities and Societies: i am A Member of Trio, A Grant Funded Student Support Services Organization That is Geared Towards Helping Students with Various Issues Ranging from Financial Aid Assistance, to Resolving Issues with Teachers and Staff. i was A Member of the Trio Program at Triton College When i Attended There, and i am Currently A Student Advisor for the Trio Program at Triton as Well. Trio has Been an Integral Component in MY Educational Career at Triton, and at Uic.I am in MY Final Year at Uic Due to the Fact That i Increased MY Course Load, and That i am Taking Summer Classes as Well. i am Currently Enrolled in Five Classes Which Include: Intro to Entrepreneurship, Professional Presence, Entrepreneurial Finance, African American Studies, and Business Calculus.
• Activities and Societies: i was A Member of Tcsa, or the Triton College Student Association, Which Served the Student Body as Their Student Government. Being A Student Senator Allowed ME to Get an Inside Look at How the Campus Operated and How the Board of Trustees Allocated Funds to Various Programs and Services. i was Also A Student Ambassador. in This Role i Guided Campus Tours, Volunteered at Recruiting Events, and Gained Additional Knowledge About the Inner Workings of the Campus and It'S Departments.I Graduated with High Honors from Triton in may of 2014 with an Aas Degree. During MY Time There, i Made Valuable Connections and Networked with Various Faculty Members Who would Later Assist ME with Attaining Scholarships and Grants to Fund MY Education. i was Able to Complete MY Degree in Two Years Because i Took no Less Than 21 Credit Hours Per Semester, as i was Serious About Graduating. it was Difficult at Times, Because i Worked A Full Time Job, and i Also had MY Two Young Boys to Raise. i Stayed Focused and i Successfully Completed MY Degree.
