• Activities and Societies: President of Graduate Student Council for One Year and Supervisor of Quantitative Teaching &Amp; Research Lab for Two Years.After Receiving Master'S Degree in American Politics, i Pursued an Unfinished Doctoral Degree by Writing Thesis on the Effects of of Race and Class on Political Attitudes and Beliefs. Ultimately, i Lost Interest in the Pursuit of Studying Political Science as A Profession in not Conforming to its Quantitative Obscurity. as One Old Adage Pertains: Political Science is the Study of Those Who Don'T Need to be Studied by Those Who Do. i Do, However, Maintain an Unquenchable Curiosity for Different Kinds and Levels of Politics and History, as Well as Current Events Around the Globe. i do Sense Something Amiss in Educating Young People on Our Governmental Processes, World History Civic Duties, Political Socialization and Sexual Education. i do Believe it is MY Mission from God to Help Those in Need and Comfort the Afflicted and Neglected.
• Activities and Societies: Tennis Team, College Newspaper, Study Abroad in Oxford, England, Washington Semester Program at American University in Wash., D.C.Most Importantly, i Gained A Liberal-Arts Education Provided by A Fine Faculty in A Setting of Less Than A 1,000 Students on A Campus Confined to One City Block. Less Important were the Opportunities to Work Part-Time on Campus, Express Freedom of Speech and Dissent and Finish with A Gpa of 3.49 (The Minimum for Graduating with Honors was 3.5 in the Mid-1970s.). Perhaps Unique in Higher Education, i Actually had MY Father, Chairman of the Three-Person Biology Department, for One-Third of the Introductory Course, That Part Focusing on Human Sexuality.
