• Doctoral Dissertation Research – Explored Twice-Dislocated Employees’ Experiences of Transition, Self-Adjustment, and Reinvention. This Qualitative Phenomenological Study Titled “Employment Dislocation: A Phenomenological Study of Self-Adjustment and Reinvention” Incorporated A Modified Van Kaam Method by Moustakas for Phenomenological Exploration of A Lived Experience, Data Collection and Analysis. Specifically, the Research Study Explored the Phenomenon of Twice-Lived Employee Dislocation to Determine Themes from 15 Volunteers That Met the Sample Criteria Required for the Research; Experiences of the Same Plant Closing Twice, the Transitions, Self-Adjustments, and Reinventions Made Following Each of the Plant Closings.The Research Study Intent was to Learn from the Transitional Experiences of Self-Adjustment Toward Reinvention of the Twice-Dislocated Employees Because of an Unstable Manufacturing Workplace Environment.
• Research Project – A Quantitative Study Focused the Impact of Corrective Actions and the Relationship of Continual Improvement Toward A World Class Manufacturing Product and Organizational Status. the Findings Reflected That Multiple Measures of Quality Control; may have A Negative Impact Related to “Flavor of the Month” Syndrome - A Problem When Leaders are Constantly Moved Bringing with Them Their Preferred Methods of Management Eliminating Standardization in Many Area Including Requirements for Quality Control. Taking the Quality System to the Boardroom; Places Accountability of the Quality System to the Individuals That are Responsible for A Critical Component for Optimization of Manufacturing. This Research Project Examined the Quality Assurance System and Discovered Real World Applications to Reduce Repeat Corrective Actions, Provide Accountability to the Quality System, and Ensure Plant Certification of the International Organization of Standardization.
• Research Project – Quantified the Impact of Art Therapy on School Graduation or Alternate Work / Life Goals of Challenged Population. Population Comprised of 60 Clients. A Year Long Case Study Documented the Project. Data was Collected from Daily Observations and Journaling of Art Therapy Sessions with Clients. Interactive Exploration of Client Art Using Art Exhibits and Poetry Readings Clients Generated A Self-Reflection on Personal Transitions Resulting from Art Therapy Sessions. the Year Long Collection of Data was Compiled in Various Reflective Artworks, Journaling Formats and Presented in A Four Hour Oral Presentation Along with the Quantifiable Results on the Effect Art Therapy had in Relationship to Successful School Graduation or Alternate Work / Life Goals.
