Worked 35 Hours at A Convenience Store with Average Course Load of 15 Hours for Three Years. During MY Senior Year, Worked at Topeka Halfway House for Men, A Live-In Transitional Facility That Housed UP to 15 Residents Who were on County Probation, or Federal or State Parole. During That Time, i Managed A Caseload and i Also Represented the Halfway House by Teaching Pre-Parole Classes at Hutchinson State Correctional Institution, Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, and Lansing Prison. During Those Classes i would Meet with Inmates Who were Nearing Parole in Groups to Explain the Program and Later Meet with Inmates Again with Just Their Team Lead/Social Worker for Those Parolees Whose Needs Most Closely Matched the Services Provided by the Halfway House Program to Begin the Admission Determination Process.
