• Mei Began Violin Study from Age 7 Thru High School with Her Father, the Former Concertmaster of China Radio Symphony Orchestra. She Received Both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy After Moving to America. as A Certified Suzuki Violin Instructor (Books 1-10); Mei has Been Teaching Children (Ages 3 &Amp; Up) to Adults Since 1992, and had Been A Faculty Member of the Ravenscroft School in Raleigh; the Oakwood School in Greenville; and SC Suzuki Institute at Furman University. She has Extensive Performance Experiences with Professional Orchestras Throughout the Southeast, Including North Carolina Symphony; North Carolina Opera Company; the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, Savannah Symphony in Ga; Charleston Symphony in Sc; Virginia Symphony; and Many Other Regional and Local Symphony Orchestras Since 1991. Her Performances have Been Featured on Npr and Pbs in North Carolina and Georgia.
