• Activities and Societies: Graduate Assistantship the Center for Information and Communication Sciences (Cics) Offers A Unique Master'S Degree Where Students can Learn How to Fluently Speak to Both C-Suite Business Leaders and Very Technically-Inclined it Staff and Translate Easily Between the Technical Specifications and the Business Requirements.In This Program, I'Ve Learned How to Translate Things Like Dense Wavelength Dense Multiplexing Into Manageable Terms That Make Sense to People Who Aren'T Technically-Inclined and Why Such Technology might be Very Useful and Important for Their Business and Vice Versa. MY Master'S Degree is Normally A 2 Year Program at Other Schools, but Cics Wants to Prepare Students for the Real World and Condensed the Curriculum Into Just 11 Months. This Means the Entire Program was Jam-Packed and Intensely Challenging to Manage, but the Results are Well Worth It. I'Ve Learned SO Much About Technology, Time Management, Prioritization, the Importance of Effective Communication, and How to Find Balance.
• Activities and Societies: Japanese Conversation Club, Peer Tutor, Ball State University Honor'S Program, Miller College of Business Honor'S Program During Undergrad, i Worked Full Time While Taking A Full Honors Course Load. This was A Very Difficult Time for ME as i Learned How to Manage MY Time, MY Personal Life, and MY Health All at Once. Because of This, I'Ve Learned Where MY Limits Are, How to Stretch Them, and How to Manage Many Things at the Same Time, as Well as Developing MY Grit in Order to Weather Whatever may Come MY Way.
