• I'M A Perpetual Student. i Took SO Many Units of Extension Courses for Fun (Ranging from Shakespeare, Broadcast Journalism, Copy Editing, Feature Writing, Japanese Language, Etc.) That i was Invited -- and Accepted -- Lifetime Membership Into the Alumni Association I have Spoken at A Career Day Event at Ucla Even Though i Don'T have A Degree from Them!
• Activities and Societies: Reporter, School Newspaper. Member, Student Chapter of Spj (Society of Professional Journalists)Pepperdine Couldn'T be Further on the Opposite End of the Spectrum from Smith College in Terms of Philosophy, Environment, Etc., but i Carved Out MY Own Little Niche and Enjoyed MY Time There. i Loved MY Journalism and English Lit Classes (Especially the Two in Which i Studied Theater as Literature). i Also Found the First Teacher/Professor Since Perhaps Fourth Grade Who Actually Made Math Make Sense to Me. i Re-Took High School Math, College Level Algebra and Trig, and Even Calculus. All for Fun (Minus the First Class to Fulfill A Department Units Requirement)!

Smith was the Right Place at the Wrong Time, as MY Mother was Diagnosed with Stage iv Ovarian Cancer MY Very First Week of Freshman Year. Although i Loved the School, i Hated Being 3,000 Miles Away from Home (Particularly Since They Hid Her Diagnosis from ME at the Beginning and Couldn'T Quite Trust Any Info i Received After That). i Just Couldn'T Focus the Way i Needed To. but i Interviewed Prospective Students for the Smith College Club of LA for A Number of Years, SO MY Loyalties Never Left Northampton...
