• Activities and Societies: Aiche Student Memberwhile Enrolled i Worked Part-Time as A Teaching Assistant and Gained Some More Research Experience in A Laboratory Setting. in This Research i Attempted to Synthesize Max-Phase Compounds Using A Tube Furnace and an Xrd Machine to Characterize MY Results. My Last Semester i Worked Part-Time at Lynntech, Inc. (In College Station, Tx) to Experience Working in A Commercial R&Amp;D Environment.
• i Conducted Graduate Research for A Master'S Degree in Chemistry Which Culminated in A Thesis. MY Research Consisted of Two Projects - Each of Which was A Computational Chemistry Study Where i Probed the Thermochemistry on Small Molecules Containing Heavy Elements Using AB Initio Techniques.
• i Took Several Classes in Differential Equations and Matrix Mathematics. in This Program i was Introduced to Java and Python Programming, the Program R, and the Typesetting Program Latex. Minor: Applied Mathematics
• After Leaving Employment at Fedex and While Waiting for MY Program at A&Amp;M to Start, i Decided to Attend Community College to Further Develop MY Programming Skills. i Finished This Program the Same Semester i Started at A&Amp;M. I Took A Class on Php and Another One on Mysql, and Two Classes in the C# Programming Language, One of Which was Using C# to Interact with Databases.
