• i Started Out Intending to Major in Engineering and English Literature, Then i Took MY First Physics Classes. i Wish i could Say i Immediately Exhibited A Natural Gift, but I'D be Lying. in Fact, MY Work was Affected by A Weak Math Background; i was Valedictorian of MY Large Southern High School, but the School Didn'T Even Offer Calculus. but i was Intrigued and Determined. i Dropped the Engineering Major, Worked Hard at Physics, and by the Time i Finished MY Degree--With A Physics Major--I was the Top Student in MY Physics Classes. Meanwhile, i Continued to Study Literature and Theater and Found i had A Gift for Writing; Good Grades Came Much Easier in MY Writing Courses Than in Physics.
