In the U.K., Cat has hosted other popular primetime shows such as Stars in Their Eyes, CD: UK Live, SMTV: Live and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, just to name a few.
Cat also appears as the face of Pantene hair care products in both the U.S. and U.K., and she has been seen with Anderson Cooper and Piers Morgan as a special correspondent covering the Royal Wedding for CNN Worldwide.
Cat is a advocate for children around the world. She works for the Great Ormond Street Hospital as well as UNICEF.
Cat Deeley graduated from Dartmouth High School (Great Barr), where she played clarinet in the youth concern band. At the age of 16, she was signed by the Storm Modeling Agency under the name of "Cat."
By the time she was 18, Cat was working as a full-time model until her contract with Storm ended in 1997. Subsequently she became an MTV UK presenter and then began appearing on various programs in the UK.
Cat began hosting SYTYCD in 2006, after replacing the former hostess who was pregnant. Since then, she has hosted various American and British programs including Fox's New Year's Eve Special, UK coverage of American Idol and Live with Regis and Kelly.
