To: JOHN MARSTEN ...101 ASPEN AVE STERLING, VA 20164Dear John, If I have the right person, this is a voice from your past. I wanted to let you know that Ron passed away a couple of days ago. He had a pretty tormented life and at last he will hopefully find some peace and happiness. He had lung cancer and other assorted ailments, but it was the cigarettes that got him, I guess. Ron and I have been divorced since 1997, shortly after our son, Greg, suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. I think I told you about that when you called. Anyway, I wanted to ask you a question. Greg has been searching through Ron's few belongings out in Illinois and is disappointed not to find any of his 16 mm films. I believe the ones he is interested in were filmed for USDA---called Man Against Fire and Twister. Would you have any idea where he might get copies of these. Since they were before your time maybe you have no idea but just thought I'd ask. Or if you know of one done at NPC that might have his name on the credits, please let me know if it is possible to get one. Even if it is in 16 mm Greg can get it redone. Thanks, John. Hope you are well. (Personally speaking, I have been happily married to Frank, a retired FBI Agent for 6 years. kim
