I am writing you with the assumption that Dr Dinsmore former of the Ornithology Dept is your father. I e-mailed him with the same info. I have been trying to identify a dove seen in the wild, about half again as big as a mourning dove, rounded tail with white tips, and a partial collar on its neck. Got pcitures of a pair this morning. I think they are Eurasian Collared Doves. Have they been seen in Iowa? Thanking you in advance. Al
