To: TIMOTHY W TUCKER ...2 MCCONNELL AVE RAVENA, NY 12143Mr. Tucker,
I recently came across your rendition of the John Bailey family history (descendants of Haddam, CT founder John Bailey) at website ... while searching for similar information relating to the earlier heritage of John Bailey (believed to be of Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
I am also a descendant of John Bailey through my maternal grandfather, Louis Doumaux Bailey (b. Oct 21, 1878; d. Aug 20, 1952). I have also traced my heritage through the Bailey family back to John and his immigration (apparently) aboard the Bevis in 1638, settling, and subsequent founding/purchasing of Haddam, CT along with 27 others.
The list of my Bailey ancestors going in reverse order from my grandfather Louis Doumaux, are Lloyd John, John, Roswell, Robert, Jabez, Ephraim, John, and finally, John Bailey the immigrant.
The reason I am writing is not, unfortunately, because I have additional information, but rather because I do not. I wasn't able to determine the date of your web posting and wondered if you have been successful in obtaining any further information on John Bailey's English history prior to his immigration to America since you originally posted the extensive information on that site.
If so, I would be very appreciative to have another clue to follow into my earlier heritage. If not, it's nice to know that I've found yet another distant cousin that also has an interest in our family geneology. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks very much,
To: CHARLES BAILEYAre you the Charles Bailey who is the son of Vera and Stanley Bailey? If so, I am your cousin Barbara, daughter of Pat and Bob Bailey. I have found in my dad's slides a really great picture of your mom and dad around the time they were married and would love to send it to you. Also some other family pics you might like.

To: BIT BAILEYAre you Bit Bailey who once lived in or near Meridian, MS in the early 1970's and have one brother? If so, we met briefly - only a couple of days. We were young teenagers at the time. Write back, if you'd like, if you are the Bit Bailey I met then.
