| Simon. Before (Julio Iglesias N# 14 best seller in the world!)became famous,never showed BIG VOCALS SKILLS!. This kid Jason Castro reminds me so much of him, he has a tone similar to Julio, he can sing! has an unique style, a very soothing and sexy voice and most important of all, transmits emosions and has so much carisma!, reminds me of Travolta. | Simon's comments turn Idol into Jerry Springer Light. Calling one contestant a pencil, now there's a wit! Archuleta is way too good for Idol. He's in another league. When Simon came out with the Bush Baby crap and ridiculed kids with obvious disabilities, Simon hit the skids. I couldn't stomach that. If it weren't for Ryan Seacrest, the show would be struggling for oxygen and ranking along side Springer when it comes to class. | |

| I am an older watcher of A I and love the show.But the last few years I think that the show needs some changes - To let American on its own decides who can be a star? Please - I think the judges who have been with these contestants from the start should have a say in the outcome of the voting.It has become a popularity contest, not a singing contest. You lost one of the best singers tonite, Alaina and Jason too. Put the judges back into the voting, at least they know what they are looking for. | |
