| i believe that AI is going to lose a ton of viewers after last night's results. we saw this last year with Adam and have seen it many times before. i never miss the show, but i will not watch it again after this year. it is too disappointing. something has to be done about the way the voting is done. it is like having a union shop, and you have to get rid of the good guy because of seniority. you guys are getting rid of the good guys because they dont have as many friends. | |

| I am so angry about the elimination of James Durbin. It is just wrong how the new voting system works. Preteens stay up voting all night online for the teenagers on the show. The voting should be limited to ten votes per e-mail address and 5 votes per phone and text. 72 million votes - a joke. People could not get through on the phone to vote for James and the online voting didn't close until 4.00 in the morning. AI NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!! Won't watch the rest of the season. | |

| I really think the voting system is broken. James was the far best performer in idol recent history. James should of won the whole thing. I cant believe that Haley even made it, she is not good. Me and alot of others are done watching. | |

| Although this week featured songs from the 21st century, I was upset that the song "Swingin" (sung by Scotty) was credited to Leann Rimes. with no mention given to the original artist and songwriter, John Anderson. I am a citizen of Apopka, FL and since he grew up here, John Anderson is one of our hometown heroes. I would have liked to hear him given some credit for the song, especially since the version that Scotty sang was closer to the 1982 original than Leann's more recent reincarnation. | |

| The elimination of Pia was indeed shocking HOWEVER, each one of those judges owe an apology to that young man, Stefano. The way they carried on and on about how wrong it was Pia was eliminated and all the while you could see how emotionally upset this young man was. After all, IT'S NOT HIS FAULT THAT THIS IS THE WAY AMERICA VOTED! Every one of those judges should be ashamed of their behavior! | |

| I believe the judges owe the remaining 8 contestents a HUGE apology. Pia may have been talented; but so are the rest of them! Just because Pia was "their" favorite; she obviously wasn't Americas favorite and it was VERY disrespectful to let the other contestents know their disappoinment! They have all worked hard and one by one will be eliminated. But they each desearve respect. Especially from the people that represent American Idol. The right thing to do would be to offer a public apology. | |

| I knew when the judges wasted the save two weeks ago on Casey that it would come back to bite them. The save should be used for someone who can win American Idol, not someone you like. Casey can not win and now neither can Pia. I hope the judges realize the huge mistake they made. | |

| After last nights debacle I think you should change the way contestants are eliminated. You could still have the fans vote for their favorite each show, but the judges the next day would pick the 3 contestants they think should be in the bottom 3, Then based on fan vote the contestant with the least votes of the three would be voted off. After it got to 3 then it would be just fan vote. It would avoid something like this happening again. My family and 5 children love the show. Will miss Pia. | |

| I have been watching tv for many years and never seen such an injustice as I saw tonight. Pia was definitely the best talent on the show. If she is not brought back, I will never watch another episode and I know many others will do the same. Do the unprecedended and bring her back. Your ratings will skyrocket. Perhaps it is time to re-visit the voting process. This result is unacceptable. Pia has the talent to become as popular as Kerry Underwood and she is now off the show. Ridiculous !! | |

| I have been a fan of the show for years but I think this year has the best crop of talent I have seen.I think there is a mix of every genre of music, which is why I think it would be interesting to see you guys have a Jazz night.I know that a lot of folks probably do not have a huge repertoire that they are familiar with but,I think considering the voices that are on the show that it would be a great challenge for them.(B.Holiday,L.Armstrong,Manhattan Transfer,C.Parker,M.Davis)What a Challenge | |
