Why is Lauren Alaina being promoted and sent everywhere with Scotty McCreery? I thought that was the special part of winning AI to get the record deal, the promotions on TV and radio shows and Grand Ole Opry. I don't think this is at all fair to Scotty. I don't remember any other runner up being sent everywhere the winner goes. She is being billed as the AI winner and that is not right! If Lauren had won, I don't think Scotty would have reaped the same benefits she is getting.

I totally agree that "Lady" Gaga's part on American Idol was vulgar and unappealing. You should not have even had her on the show. The producers have very poor taste and not a clue what talent really is.

Clean up the guest on show. Two of the Final guest were vulgar,Gaga & Beounce. No Idol for American youth to model their lives after. Love the show but the guest were out of line with their dress, lyrics & performances. Would not want my grandchildren looking up to Gaga or Beounce. Cary Underwood yes and Tim McGraw yes. Show some respect & clean up the content.

Avid watcher, but Lady Gaga & Beouce were out of line for a family show.Gaga was totally vulgar.These are now women I would want my grandchildren looking up to as idols. Clean up the guest and allow talents to have more air time and fewer fillers. Let's see what talents can really do & have viewers votes to count for less so the real talents don't get voted off. Pia & James for an example. Love the show, just clean it up & use real Idols with good taste in what they do. Gaga no more!!

They quit when Adam didn't win. He should have, and I think this poll was very accurate with Adam in 1st, but maybe the producers didn't think he should win.

All the comments are absolutely right. I live in Canada, and did not vote, but I was unaware that there was a voting problem. I certainly hope that this will be looked into, and corrected.

i believe that AI is going to lose a ton of viewers after last night\'s results. we saw this last year with Adam and have seen it many times before. i never miss the show, but i will not watch it again after this year. it is too disappointing. something has to be done about the way the voting is done. it is like having a union shop, and you have to get rid of the good guy because of seniority. you guys are getting rid of the good guys because they dont have as many friends.

I am so angry about the elimination of James Durbin. It is just wrong how the new voting system works. Preteens stay up voting all night online for the teenagers on the show. The voting should be limited to ten votes per e-mail address and 5 votes per phone and text. 72 million votes - a joke. People could not get through on the phone to vote for James and the online voting didn't close until 4.00 in the morning. AI NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!! Won't watch the rest of the season.

I really think the voting system is broken. James was the far best performer in idol recent history. James should of won the whole thing. I cant believe that Haley even made it, she is not good. Me and alot of others are done watching.

Although this week featured songs from the 21st century, I was upset that the song "Swingin" (sung by Scotty) was credited to Leann Rimes. with no mention given to the original artist and songwriter, John Anderson. I am a citizen of Apopka, FL and since he grew up here, John Anderson is one of our hometown heroes. I would have liked to hear him given some credit for the song, especially since the version that Scotty sang was closer to the 1982 original than Leann's more recent reincarnation.

The elimination of Pia was indeed shocking HOWEVER, each one of those judges owe an apology to that young man, Stefano. The way they carried on and on about how wrong it was Pia was eliminated and all the while you could see how emotionally upset this young man was. After all, IT'S NOT HIS FAULT THAT THIS IS THE WAY AMERICA VOTED! Every one of those judges should be ashamed of their behavior!
